Khulu caters for no more than twelve guests at a time. This intimate camp comprises three thatched safari-style suites built onto platforms. The rooms are well-appointed and each is designed in a modern contemporary style. Each suite has an indoor and outdoor shower, a balcony for game viewing and individual tea and coffee-making facilities. The beds are twins but can be converted to super king size for double occupancy
The thatched tented suites include one honeymoon suite. Each suite boasts of all the luxury amenities needed such as Nespresso machines, minibars and inside and outside showers, for our discerning traveller who appreciates their home luxuries. Khulu offers guests the luxury of exclusivity on a private concession where you have the option to do activities on the private concession and within the National Park, without having to stay within the ‘traffic’ of the National Park.
The plunge pool in the main area is the perfect spot to sip on a refreshing cocktail and enjoy the wildlife at play, drinking from our very active waterhole. More often than not, the large elephant herds brave the waters of our plunge pool, not being able to resist quenching their thirst with fresh water after muddying the waters of their waterhole.
Khulu Ivory is situated 2.8 km off the main Victoria Falls/Bulawayo Road and is accessible for all self-drive vehicles. Hwange airport is 8kms away but only accommodates private air charters.
